Update 1 Adds Vehicles, Tools and the Chief Role

Blackbox Express labels this event as Update 1 (Released). The official event description names the content additions below, but it does not provide complete vehicle statistics, tool names, rank thresholds or Chief access requirements.

What the update adds

• Seven new vehicles.
• One new livery for the ladder engine.
• Four new tools.
• The Chief role with the ability to spawn into calls, make PA announcements and assign a Deputy Chief.
• Two named emergency calls: Tree Blocking Roadway and Fire at Gas Station.

The event window starts on October 3, 2026 at 02:30 UTC. The title and event record say the update was released, but the timestamp is an event-window time rather than an independently verified deployment timestamp.

What to check in game

Use the current emergency menu to confirm that the new calls are available. The station vehicle spawner is the place to check which vehicles your rank can use. Tool availability can vary by role and call, so the live prompts are the most reliable reference.

What remains unconfirmed

The announcement counts vehicle and tool additions without naming every item. It also does not establish the exact requirements for using the Chief role or assigning a Deputy Chief. Treat individual vehicle statistics and rank XP values as unconfirmed until they can be checked in the current game.
